Rounding
Whole Number Rounding:
Rounding allows us to decide whether we need to increase or decrease a number to the next digit.
The "messenger" is the number that sends a message to the "king" (place value to be rounded), and determines whether the king should increase by one or stay the same.
Hefty Messengers: The numbers 5,6,7,8,9. Tells the king to increase by one, and all the numbers after become 0.
Wimpy Messengers: The numbers 0,1,2,3,4. Tells the kind to stay the same, and all the numbers after become 0.
